Pickeral Frog

This is a picture of a pickerel frog. You can tell that it is a pickerel frog because of the rectangular spots it had on its body. Pickerel frogs are rare. We were lucky to find one this year. Pickerel frogs are nocturnal. I believe that we found this frog after it had rained the night before. The frog had probably come out to find food.
